We are proud to announce an additional full time member of our AviatorPPG staff. A friend of our team for a couple of years, Travis Burns has recently joined our ranks and we are very happy to have him!
As our flight school manager, Travis manages our student’s needs and continues to perfect our training curriculum both in the classroom and in the air. He works hard to help student’s dial in their understanding of every piece of information they might need for their paramotor flying experience.
Travis’ past experience includes over 20 years of aviation experience serving in the United States Coast Guard as a pilot and flight instructor specializing in multi-engine fixed wing aircraft including the Casa 235 and the Falcon Jet. He holds an FAA Commercial and ATP license as well as a CFII and many type ratings. He has been flying paramotors for over 4 years and is an absolute wealth of knowledge as well as a joy to be around.
Travis retired from the USCG last year and set out on an adventure with his wife Carrie and his two young children (Mason and Violet), traveling around the country in their RV. They had planned to continue that adventure for several years, but after working with us as an intern they have decided to plant some roots in our beautiful small town… We couldn’t be more excited to welcome them all into our lives (and business).
